Wearing pink is sometimes seen as a bit of a statement. Loud to some, confident to others.

It’s a colour I’ve always loved wearing. I felt like I was breaking the mould as a kid, being a bit different, taking some stick from my ‘friends’ and teammates consequently: pink polos, pink cricket bat grips and stickers, pink watch. I loved it all.

This piece isn’t about being the centre of attention though. It’s about presence. The quiet kind. The kind that reminds people they’re not on their own. Sometimes, simply showing up for someone is enough.
