I wanted to create something that helped.

That’s really where ABwear started.

I’m a primary school teacher from near Newcastle, and I genuinely adore what I do. But the reality is - it so often takes more than it gives.

Being in a position to positively influence the lives of young people is a privilege I never take for granted. Creating environments where they feel safe, supported, happy and eager to learn is what drives me every day.

Recently I've been thinking - where is that same support for us as adults? We are the number 1 most important tool in education, but I feel like we're constantly being thrown to the wolves - and I really love wolves, but you know what I mean. 

ABwear is a collection of premium garments designed to mean something more than just clothing. Every piece carries a small reminder - for yourself, and sometimes for the people around you too. The world can feel fast-paced and, at times, overwhelming. But positive energy has a way of finding positive energy. On any given day, something small - even a single line on a hoodie or t-shirt can shift someone’s perspective and change their entire day.

I’ve struggled with both my mental and physical health over the years. Injuries and surgeries changed the path I thought I was on, and brought challenges I wasn’t always prepared for.

One thing I’ve learned is that support matters.

Sometimes it comes from people. Sometimes it comes from words you need to hear at exactly the right time.

This brand was built around that idea.
